English singer-songwriter David Bowie tape-taped over 400 various tunes throughout his over 50-year profession. Bowie functioned with numerous musicians throughout his profession, consisting of manufacturers Tony Visconti, Brian Eno and vocalist Iggy Stand out, and was the primary songwriter for many of his songs; he tape-taped cover variations of tunes by musicians consisting of the That, the Pretty Points and the Yardbirds. Following his psychedelic pop-influenced self-titled launching cd in 1967, he launched his first effective solitary "Space Oddity", which presented the imaginary astronaut Significant Tom. He after that launched his people rock-inspired second self-titled cd in 1969, which stood for a creative advancement for Bowie, containing tunes such as "Changes" and "Life on Mars?" In between 1972 and 1974, Bowie was a leader of the glam shake category, as showcased on The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Crawlers from Mars (1972), which introduced Bowie to stardom.
